How do you guarantee the security of my data?
Data sanitization is done on modified hardware that was purpose-built for performing high-security data erasure. This hardware is ONLY operated from a secure space by expert technicians.
How will you prove my data has been destroyed?
Erase reports and certificates are provided upon completion of the service and can be delivered through whatever means are chosen by the customer. This can vary from a standard SMS or email to fully encrypted messages for those who choose our anonymous service.
Do you keep records of my hardware?
For standard erasure, we store ONLY non-identifying records such as the make and model of the system and drives in order to provide proof of service. For our anonymous service, all records will be disposed of after payment has been rendered and the service is completed.
What do you do with the leftover hardware?
By default, your old hardware will be refurbished and reused, or recycled. Complete destruction is also available upon customer request, but often not necessary in many cases.
How do you take payment?
We are happy to accommodate most payment methods, however we do not recommend PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, or any other centralized service, as they are prone to data breaches that can compromise your safety and security. Cash or cryptocurrency, specifically XMR- are preferred.
